    Weight
I am a 17 year old 6'2'' boy. I have always been skinny my entire life but now am beginning to get a little chubby. Just in the past month I have gone from 160 lbs to 180 lbs with no change in exercise or diet. Is there any reason for this jump in weight

Perhaps, you stopped (or slowed down) growing taller and the food intake is going to your weight instead? I say this because you are too young for your metabolism to slow down.

    Weight gain
    Hi,
Twenty lbs. in one month is quite a bit!
Are you using the same scales? Wearing the same clothes, or not wearing any?
If you haven't changed your diet, you might want to check on calories. There are small paper-back books for calories in foods.
If one adds up all the calorie intake just for 1 day (24 hrs), 2000 calories is the normal amount for body maintenance; no gain, no loss.
Years ago, I was amazed to discover, that by counting calories in what I ate and drank, that my intack was 3,800 calories per day!
No wonder I started gaining weight. Had to cut back on high calorie foods for awhile. I was 20 at the time.
If this type of weight gain continues, I would really see a doctor. Explain it to him/her, and get a Professional opinion on what's causing it.
