    Hair dye gone wrong
I just dyed my hair and it ended up being darker than I expected. How do I lighten it without dying it again?

D0 not bleach it whatever you do. It is best to wait two to four weeks between redying, bleaching and perming. If you do any of these too close together your hair can gum up like cotton candy and fall out. You could maybe try some Sun In to get some light streaks.

If you want to lighten your hair, you will need to use some kind of hair lightening product. Remember that hair color tends to fade over time. So if dyeing your hair is not an option, try using Prell, dandruff shampoos, clarifying shampoos or dish detergent such as Dawn to help fade the color faster. Be sure to use a conditioner afterward to restore moisture in your hair.

That is happening to me right now! Lol, anyway what I'm doing is soaking in the tub for about an hour every day with lots of bubble bath, and it seems to be working, I went from black, to a dark brown in about 2 weeks, hope this helps! Also really scrub your hair with a normal shampo.
