Looking for a kids alien movie from the 80's
    HELP! It's driving me crazy!!

I must have watched this movie sometime in the 80's or maybe early 90's.
It's about a boy maybe 10 years old, he lives near a quary of some sort. I guess people started to act all strange and stuff and they all had marks on their necks. (They were all infected by the aliens, or taken over by them.) It turns out that an alien spaceship was hiding under the quary. The kid goes down their at one point, but I'm not sure what happens. I know at the end of the movie the kid wakes up and thinks it's all a dream, then when he goes into his parents room he screams then the movie is over. I think his parents had turned into aliens as well. The movie is very fuzzy it's been 20 years, but I would really like to know what the movie is called. This movie scared the crap out of me as a child. Thanks!! I will continue looking myself.

It's Tobe Hooper's 1986 remake of Invaders from Mars.

The original also scared the crap out of me when I saw it at seven years old in 1953. :-)

The answer you are looking for is a movie called "Mac and Me" about a boy in a wheelchair who makes new friends with his new next door nieghbour and stumbles across a baby alien playing tricks before the boy knows what actually is making all the racket!
