Wat can I do to get back my ex boyfriend

Well initially our relationship was great. The reason why we broke up was because of my insecurity an me being paraniod. I really love him a whole lot and I really want to make things work but the incident was when I accused him of something he didn't do .
I regret this whole thing an I want him back I want to make things work but I'm not sure if he wants to make things work between us.

How would I know if he wants to make things work between us, how would I know if he still loves me or is he doing this to teach me a lesson.
He mentioned previously the reasons we broke up before was to teach me a lesson but it has been a month now an I really don't know what to think how to think .
