I have applied EAD for my wife in July and it is still in pending.
How should I go with Filing tax returns?
Should I apply for ITIN as well ?
Is there any possibility that I could mention her EAD application status as pending and claim the Tax benefits.

Charan:

You CANNOT apply for her ITIN until you file your tax rteurn, which CANNOT happen until 2008.

Regardless, you WILL be able to file jointly with your wife if you are on H-1/H-1B or L-1.
