    To solve by ellimination means to do away with either the x or y variable.

    We have this:

    2x - y = 5.....EQUATION A
    8x - 4y = 20.....EQUATION B

    There is no number I can use to do away with x or y in this case. Therefore, we can say that this system of equations in two variables has no solution.

    That is your answer--->NO SOLUTION.
