    Adding husband to deed
I want to add my husband to the deed on my home. In turn, he wants to add me to the deed to the duplex we rent out in a neighboring city (Lincoln, NE). We are aware that we become liable for the leins on the properties, that is fine. I just want to be sure on the verbiage needed in the deed so when it it filed, it is correct.
    Thank you...

What Scott said - if liens/mortgages are involved you have got to retain an Attorney to make sure everything is in order or you will simply muddle the legal issues.

You can get a title company or real estate attorney to draw up the deeds. It won't be too expensive and give you peace of ind that it was done correctly.
