Sometimes when turn key ON the key is not recognized and the 'Theft' light flashes ON/OFF at a fast rate rather than turn OFf - obvioulsy car does not start. Can repeat inserting key & turning On and finally Theft indicator turns OFF and car starts fine.

I was told it is the key code receiver module by the ignition switch assembly - any thoughts recommendations?
