    Toilet supply line length
I am having difficulty connecting a new water supply line running from the toilet to the
Shut off valve. The approximate distance from the toilet to shut off valve is 6 inches, but the smallest hose I can find is 9 inches. The local home center suggested I cut an ""Innoflex Connector"" to the correct length, inside of a 3/8" compression nut,and attach to the shut off valve by another nut. Will this work?

Innoflex is fairly new, made by Brasscraft and it should work. I use braided flexible lines and any flex line longer than 6" would work.

If the hose is flexible and too long If I have enough room I simply loop the hose into a return bend. That shortens it down to where I can make the connection. Good luck, Tom
