    Temperature setting for boiler
How hot is too hot to set the temperature for a boiler? What is a safe & efficient set point? Is 215 too hot and why?

If you're referring to a water heater the factory setting is 120 F.

Would you want to take a shower in water that the temperature was over the boiling point? They boil lobsters with less heat. Cheers, Tom

Thanks for responding to my question. I'm not referring to the water heater. I'm referring to the boiler that heats the water for my baseboard heating.
