Seating a new toilet bowl so that it is level
I am seating a new toilet bowl using a new wax ring with a gasket but when I
Seat the bowl it does not seat flush to the tile floor . Should I shim the bowl ?
And if that is a Yes , how do I shim it ?
    Regards Bob

Sometime using a new wax ring without the black rubber gasket biult in helps I ran into that problem today and all I did was change to a differrent style of waxring
If you still need to shim you can buy toilet weges at homedepot or Lowe's or sometime you can use pennys or dimes

You may use plastic shims or sheet lead but DO NOT USE anything hard, (like dimes or pennys) that can fracture the porcelain when you tighten down. Regards, Tom
