Can I fade dark hair dye after a month?
OK, so about a month ago I dyed my hair brown and it turned out almost black. I waited because I thought it would fade, but after a month it has stayed pretty much the same colour. Is there anyway I can get it to fade now? Is it too late? I have heard that Prell Shampoo works really well, but I don't know if it is sold in Canada. Please help!! :(

When dying your hair you need to take note of what level dye you buy. Level 1 washes out pretty quickly. Level 2 last a month or longer depending on how porous your hair is and level 3 is permanent. Check the box if you still have it. Putting a lighter color over dark isn't going to do anyhing but cause more damage to your hair. There are some products for lighting but you should really have a professional take a look at it first.

Try Color Oops from Walgreens! It worked for me... you can order it from Walgreen's website if you don't have Walgreens Drug Stores in Canada... It's pretty cheap...

Dark hair dye can grab your hair, making your hair appear even darker. But hair color gradually fades each time you shampoo your hair. Yes, Prell is known to strip artificial hair color. But there are also other products such as clarifying shampoos, dandruff shampoos or dish detergent which can help fade the color. If it still doesn't fade, try using a brown hair color with a 20-volume peroxide developer in equal parts to achieve results.
