I signed a 6mo lease starting on July 20, 2006 ending Jan 19, 2008. I have consistent mice in my apartment and can't take it any longer and want to move. I gave notice on Nov 4th that I would be out Dec4th.

I received a letter taped to my door 1 week after notice stating I'm responsible for the lease until Jan 19th. I thought the management office would be more reasonable since they know my fear of rodents. Is there anything I can do to legally get out of this lease 1 month early? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
