    Neck Rash
    Hello,

I notice a neck rash that has developed on the right side of my neck, very itchy and swelling. I have never had this before and it will not go away. I tried cortisone cream for the itch, blistasol because I thought it was a big ringworn. Neither help. It is located right under the hairline, the top of my neck. Can you please tell me what is wrong? What is this?

From your description, it sounds like urticaria also known as (hives). Urticaria or hives are an outbreak which can cause swelling, itching and red bumps. It's a result of the body's adverse reaction to certain allergens such as foods, medicines or infections. If there is swelling present, I recommend that you see a dermatologist as soon as possible.
