Electric water heater or tankless coil?
I bought a home that had an electric water heater, Which every 6 weeks has to be shocked with bleach to get rid of awful smell, I guess due to the well water and reaction to anode rod? Well My boiler has a coil in it, I was wondering do you think it would be cost effective to pipe the coil in. I mean oil is kind of expensive, But I geuss I'd use a lot less electric too.
Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

That awful smell, is it sulphur like? It could be a bad anode but it may also be bacteria in your well. Have you had your water tested, I would. I have no idea how you would plan to side step your water heater via your boiler unless it were to be a Combi Boiler.
