I purchased a hampton bay ceiling fan with a remote control i wired to a single wall switch. The remote control works well but now the fan and lights only works with the remote. I will like to know if there is a configuration where i can use my wall switch to still turn on the light (which would be most of the time as a regular light), and may be after i can use the remote to turn it off and on? And the fan is ok if only works with the remote.

I am just swapping a "normal" celing fan for a celing fan that is remote controlled. I would like to see a wiring diagram. I have called the number on it and just get a recording. Must be out of business now.
