    BAd luck+ Wheelchairs
My grandmother is in the hospital recovmering from surgery and all the seats in her room where taken.

So I sat in her wheel chair, and I got curious about it and I started like rolling around in the Wheelchair.

My mother and my friend both told me that it is bad luck to be in a wheel chair when your okay.
My friend said his brother did that and ended up on crutches later on.
And as a joke I told my mom "Hey these thigns are convienient i want a wheel chair" And she was like Don't say that!

Is this true that it is bad luck to do that? Or just a superstition?

I knew it. God forbid soemthing like that were to happen.
But I admit, Wheelchairs are pretty convenient for the elderly.
You're a nurse, you must get a kick out of riding wheelchairs

Not quite a nurse, will be in the summer. I have to finish this semester and next at school.

No, we don't ride wheelchairs at the hospital. It is not permitted.

That's because it is really bad luck.

Trust me. Wheelchairs are no fun. I hurt my knee in March and had to use a wheelchair until recently. I ached for the freedom to get around on my own. My husband had to drive me to work and pick me up again, so I had to put up with his preferences in radio and CDs and windows open or closed. And accessibility is not what you think. I was shocked at where I couldn't easily go in a wheelchair. And since it wasn't electric, I was even more limited. I had to depend on people more than I cared to.

Thank God I am out of that wheelchair!
