    How many breakers allowed
How many 15 or 20 amp breakers can I put in a subpanel (detached garage) that is fed by a 60amp feeder breaker from my 200 amp main house panel? How is this calculated?
    Thank you
    Guy

Assuming you have a 12 circuit panel, you can fill it with 15 or 20 amp breakers. This is a confusing topic, and there is no calculation as to how many breakers can be in a panel.

What I need from you is what will be the load in the garage. This will dictate how much is on each circuit, and arrive at the total circuits needed in the panel.
