    I've had a child with an ex 3 years ago now me and my current partner are trying and have been for 6months and I'm still not pregnant what shall I do? We make love everyday and we just don't understand why were not pregnant

    It can take most healthy couple at least a year before concieving.

    The key is not having sex everyday... rather every other day during your ovulation window.
    If your period is pretty regular, here is a site that can help you narrow down when you should be most fertile.

    You could also use ovulation predictor tests during this window. Once you get a positive result, you should ovulate in the next 12-48 hours.

    I would also suggest setting an appt with your doctor, let them know you are trying to get pregnant. They will do a pre-pregnancy workup and include blood work to make sure all your hormones are at the right levels to achieve pregnancy.
