Reply mails from Lotus notes not visible in MSOutlook 2K3
    Hi!
We have a typical problem of email message part not readable.
    It goes like this.
We use an outsourced email Squirrelmail server with POP and SMTP. All my users use MSOutlook 2003 running on Windows XP SP2 or Windows 2000 Pro SP4.
Whenever we send a mail to one of our clients who is using Lotus Notes Domino, the reply that comes for that mail does not show the text inputted by the client. We only see the message that was sent by us. Although the message header shows that the mail has come from the client.
Any clues or help on this will be highly appreciated.

    Thanks
    Rishikesh.

    Hi Rishikesh,

Apologies for not having an answer to your question; I am currently investigating an identical problem. Did you ever find the answer to this problem?

    Much obliged,

    Pseum.

    Hi!
I could figure out a solution.
Got to use Plain text format for all outgoing mails. No HTML, No Rich Text, No Formatting of any sort in the mail, including the confidentiality statements or signatures.
    This has solved our problem.
Not sure whether this will apply to your case too. But do let us know if it works for you.

    Regards
    Rishikesh

    Thanks!

Will keep you posted, I wonder why everyone doesn't get this issue when sending to Lotus Notes/Domino from MS Outlook 2003?

    BW,

    Pseum.
