No. If the accounts were all as Joint with right of survivorship, then they pass to the daughter outside his estate. The credit cards can only file a claim, against the estate.
Assuming the credit card amts were owed by deceased father, cr card co's can come after the portion of the bank acct that passed to the deceased dad's estate. Executor of the estate is liable to pay estate's debts.Quote:

Oooh, I may have misunderstood the question. After reading K_2's response and rereading the question, its IS unclear what accounts you are referring to. I assumed it was savings accounts, but if it's the credit card accounts themselves, then yes, if the daughter signed as co-applicant, then she is responsible for the debt if the father dies (and vice versa).
