Umm we really aren't mind readers. There is no way we can help you without knowing why the kids were taken away in the first place. But really you need to take with the chirdren's services agency that took them away. They can tell you what you need to do.

Because we became homeless threw no fault of mine
My x roommate kicked us out
Gave me 3 days to be
    There is more to it
I just want to keep it as brief as poss
I am in touch with them that's on the case is stating he wants to see that the kids aren't returned to for 6 months
I have an Apt now as of today
A 3 bedroom but now in the town where the children are
    Should I move there
Not sure what to do at this point
Since they have been placed in Foster home I have had no contact with them either as before I had
    Thank you
    KJ

Ok, So you had no place to live, but you did have a job, or not? Do you have a job now?

I would retain an attorney familiar with family law. Someone like that can tell you the most quick way to get them back. I also think there is more to this then you are telling us. I don't see Family services taking your kids away for 6 months just because you temporaily didn't have a place to live.

All of the circumstances do not matter, what led up to your being homeless. The only thing that matters is why and how you lost custody, why the children can't be returned for 6 months, how the caseworker got involved. At this point you need to speak to an Attorney - if you cannot afford an Attorney check with your local Bar Association. You can also check with Family Court if there is a file (and I would assume if the children were taken from you that there is).

Why have you not had contact with the children - ? Is there a no contact order?

I think parts of the puzzle are missing here -

    I have supervised visitation
I lost them because my so called roommate had put us out
Gave me 3 days to pack up an leave knowing we had nowhere to go
Little did I know he was breaking the law by throwing us out knowing we had nowhere to go
I left my sons Aunts because of the deplorable living conditions
Roach's ,filthy house etc etc etc...
We couldn't take it anymore so we left
The case manager is making a threat of not allowing me to have the kids for at least 6 months
This is not a done deal
I just feel as though he don't like me
He is going to be off the case in a month though an a woman is taking his place
Does he enough clout to make this so??
They are in Foster Home now in another town
The foster parents aren't allowing me contact with them now
It has been 8 days since I spoke with my son
I was able to speak with my kids an see them
I do have supervised visitation ordered by the court
Also I have a Puplic defender just not able to contact her due the Vet. Holiday

I'm sure the Public Defender will be able to help you - she can also explain how and why the supervised visitation was ordered.

I can see children's services taking the kids because you lost your home. But I don't see them keeping once you have a place. I also don't understand the supervised visitation. So I still think there is more to this then you are telling us.
