    8 weeks postpartum
I been having some discharge that started a little bit after my period was gone, Does anyone know if this is normal? I already went to my 6 week check up and they did my pap but they didn't say anything and I didn't mention it because I didn't start having it until after that check up.

What kind of discharge? Like spotting? Or like normal discharge (women always have discharge... its our bodies way of keeping the vaginal area clean).

Well not spotting more like a normal discharge its whiteish yellowish but it kind of had a foul smell to it when it first started coming out

Time for an appointment if there is any color or odor. This could be any number of things, but you should have it checked out.

Yeah, if it not "normal" discharge... and is yellow and has an odor, I would get it checked out just to make sure.

Yeah but the bad thing is I ran out of insurance so it's kind of difficult right now. Would it show up in the papsmear they did to me? Because I am waiting on those results.

If you have no health insurance you can go to your local health department. They can do screenings there.

It may show up on the PAP, yet it may not. Did you have the discharge when you had the PAP? If not, it probably won't show up.

No it had actually started after I had the pap done.. Would they charge a lot at the health department?

The health department is sliding-scale depending on your income.
