Depositing color on to bleached hair
I got my hair bleached to a very light blonde shade about 4 weeks ago, I really thought it was too light from the beginning, but now even more I am not happy with it. I would like to go to a brown or a red shade. Is it OK for me to use a hair color to achieve this. My hair is short in in fairy good condition. Please help Sweetpea527

To go from light to dark you need to prepigment the hair so best to get a professional to do it for you.

When you bleached your hair it took away all the pigments from your hair. Some dark hair colors contain green and blue base. So if you apply a brown color to bleached blonde hair, it could result in a green cast. In order to go from blonde to brown or dark, you will need to put back the red tones in your hair before coloring it brown. You will need to use a reddish hair color first, then you can re-color your hair with your desired color.
