15 year old cat and stroke
I have a 15 year old cat that apparently just had a stroke. She is at the vet now and will be coming home soon. Can anyone give me any advice to help? She is a treasure to me as I have had her since she was 6 weeks old.

wataguy, I feel for you so much but you must realize that your friend is l5 years old and a stroke is a major occurrence in a small animal. You will have to be there for her, help her eat and drink and probably help her eliminate. It all depends on the quality of life she will have and you see that she is not enjoying herself, then you only have one option, the best one you can choose. I wish you the best in what you are about to do.

For a cat try feeding him fish oil, plenty of water and Ginkgo biloba has been found to be effective in improving brain function, by reducing free radical damage to the brain and arteries.
