    Wireless connection trouble
I'm in network connections and I've highlighted the wireless network connection icon. On the left hand side (in details) it flashes and reads
    Ip- 0.0.0.0
    Subnet Mask- 0.0.0.0
    Assigned by dhcp
    Ipv6 enabled

    Access point: calvins (thats fine)
    Encryption :disabled
    Signal Strength: good

\so... can anyone tell me what the problem might be, as I still can't connect to the network via the wireless connection. When I click "repair" it takes 20minutes to tell me that there's a problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated/
    Cal

Looks like the DHCP server isn't enabled on the wireless router.

The first thing to try is to "reboot" the router... which basically means to unplug and replug it. Then try your connection again.

What kind of router is it?

    It's a DIR 300, whatever that means...
I've tried that and that doesn't work and I tried re-installing my WLan thing.
    No help that was.

Refer to the software that came with your D-Link Router and run the Setup Wizard.
