I am 27 yrs old and I am trying to conceive.. I have been using tools like ovulation calendars to see when would be the best time to get pregnant. My last period was on October 1st and on about October 26th I started to have dark brownish discharge for about two days. On November 1st the discharge started again. Is this my period or could I be pregnant?
It could be a number of things... you could be getting ready to start your period and these "discharge" episodes are simply you spotting due to your upcoming period. It also could be your body trying to have a period but just being late. Or you could be pregnant... some women experience spotting early in pregnancy.
If you haven't had your period... just this brown spotting... you could take a HPT. I mean, you last regular period was over a month ago...

While implantation bleeding is rare, it does occur sometimes.
I am curious as to what ovulation calendar you are using. Most women ovulate mid-cycle... for example, I am on Clomid (to make me ovulate) and I am to have sex every other day starting with day 11 of my cycle through day 17 (mid-cycle)... now of course this window of fertility changes depending on how long your cycle is... but you are saying you think you should be ovulating days 17-26... which seems rather off to me.
BUT...
As I said, this varies for every woman... it is very possible that you do ovulate that late... it's just not the "norm". Have you been using any other methods, like BBT or ovulation tests?
I still say if this brown discharge is all you have had and nothing else, I would do a HPT... because technically you are late.
