    Baby escape artist
Hello, any help or advise would be helpful!

My Baby who is 18months old has started to climb out of his cot whenever he wakes up, and instead of just going back to sleep as he used to he gets out of his cot and wakes everyone up, but more importantly if I didn't wake up with him it could be dangerous... he sleeps in one of those travel type cots and not a wooden one. Does anyone have any suggestions of a humane way to adapt the cot to make it more difficult then him just kicking his leg over and he's gone...

    Thanking you (",)

This is a developmental stage that all babies go through. It is most likely time for him to go to a regular bed so as to avoid injury from falling out of the cot.

I agree with j_9. Also don't put him in your bed you will have a difficult time in getting him out.

The only thing is he is a small 18 month old and has more than enough room in the cot in terms of comfort sleeping. And I have limited space in the flat, with two other children so am trying to keep him in the cot until he is ready for a bed.And learnt the lesson with the children in my bed thing with child number 1 (",)
    Thanks for your Answers!
