    True Labor Costs
I am trying to present my employer with my salary request and need to know what it will cost them to provide my requested net take-home pay. I live in Tennessee and want my net pay to be $77,000/year - what is the gross amount I will need for this net pay and what is the cost to my employer in FICA, FUTA and SUTA? In other words, for me to take home $77,000 what is the cost to my employer? I am only interested in backing out taxes because no benefits will be calculated in this amount. How do I calculate this, or find this info? Thanks for any help!!

    Confused in TN

What do you claim on your taxes? Single married head of house hold? 1, 2, 3 dependants?? Does your spouse work? I would need that info to be able to calculate the info you are asking.
    Thanks.
