    Clocking in
I am a salaried manager, my employer doesn't have a hand book with any company rules or expectations. We have to work 10 hour day and somtime if our numbers are bad we have to work 6 days a week. They now want us to clock in and out. Is it OK to hold me accountable with no handbook. And does this break the salary criteria

I am a salried manager, my Boss is now wanting us to clock in and out so that he know we are working over 10 hours a day. Does this detroy the salary criteria.

Time for a new job? Salary does not equate free overtime in my opinion. You were hired at X wage per month based on 40 hours per week unless stated otherwise in your contract. So if you are working 50 hours per week, your wages are reduced by 20 percent. Does that seem fair to you?

I merged your posts since they are the same issue.

A handbook of company policies is not required. But the absence of one leaves the employee blowing in the wind when it comes to disputes.

Its not unusual for salaried employees to sign in and out for attendance purposes.
