Ask Me Help Desk - I Don't know

I just started taking birth control pills and me and my boyfriend always have unprotected sex. He says that he always pulls out and I believe him, but my period is due this week and I've been spotting for like two days and I have been having cramps. Last week I felt nausea. I've heard of implantation bleeding and I'm hoping that that's not what it is but I don't know

Birth control pill users, especially new users, will often experience spotting and nausea. However, spotting is also a symptom of a sexually transmitted disease. Having unprotected sex can be dangerous, there's so many diseases out there. I know he's your boyfriend and everything, but if your not sure about his sexual history with other women, make him wear a condom. It's better to be safe than sorry. I really think you should schedule an appointment with your doctor to see what's causing your symptoms.

I fully agree with PrettynPetite. Please see a doctor.
Unprotected sex, unless you are married, is a very, very, very bad idea.
First, as already posted, diseases are easy to catch, if one partner has any.
Next, you can never be really sure that he hasn't impregnated you! Even with withdrawing early, there is always a chance that you have been!
Whether it's just a slim chance, the chance is there.
The pill and the condom are not a 100% guarantee that you willl not become pregnant; even the manufacturers of the products state that. No contraceptive is absolute.
I do wish you the best, and please see a doctor. I do hope everything works out OK for you.

I absolutely agree.

From the sound of it, you two are pretty young and should be thinking about the responsibilities of not just diseases, but if you become pregnant, are you both able to go the whole nine-yards and be responsible parents? - don't thinks so, since you started unprotected, that was a dumb idea and disrespectful of him. Plus, pulling out is not a sure thing as pre-come has sperm in it too, so forget that myth. Hope you are spared this time, but please be more careful next time. See your doctor as said in all the previous posts. Anyway if you have any more questions, let us know and we'll be here to help you get educated - better late than never...

Thanks so much for your concern. Before we started being sexually active we both got tested for everything and we both came back negative (we went together). Monogomy is extremely important to the both of us so I'm pretty sure that we're only sleeping with each other. The thing is though it's hard to tell because birth control has so many side affects and some of them are the same as pregnancy symptoms. On top of that I'm extremely stressed out so I'm scared that that might mess with my period too. What is implantation bleeding?

Always is not always, and even within some of the first fluid can be some sperm. The more sperms the higher the chance, but always a chance even if he is pulling out.

Next bet it is he that does not want to use protection? Right?
Tell him to wrap it or pack it, if he does not wish to help with your protection, he is more interested in the sex than the relationshiop
