I went looking and found the following. I am not certain of the service by them in Chennai, but at least they are places where you can start. Various rates should be listed on the sites.

I don't really know because I was looking for dish connection in my searches. Could be that there might be DirectTV available over where kavitha123 lives. I don't normally watch T.V. Is DirecTV something that operates without a cable to the home?

Yes, it is like Dish, satellite TV. In my opinion much better than Dish, for me anyway.
