    Probation relocating
    What is the normal time limit for someone to be able to transfer their probation to another state? (Georgia to Erie Pa) What is required? And can it be refuse by either state

    Can it be refused?? Of course.

    Hi! It took me from almost a year to get probation transferred from NYS to PA. NYS was the culprit. They lolly gagged around until I got an attorney involved. When I was convicted on a felony DUI in NYS, judge granted that I was able to move to PA for my job relocation. From what I understand, ANY state can refuse a transfer but I do know it helps if you are moving for an employer. Good luck!
