    Cutting cast iron pipe
I need to cut a 4 3/4 OD" cast iron pipe in order to install a plastic T (4") to the cast iron pipe. I am installing a toilet in the basement. The cast iron pipe is in the ground and I have already cut the concrete.

If the cast iron's in a trench rent a set of cast iron ratchet,(not snap) cutters. Good luck, Tom

If you own a reciprocating saw you can try a metal cutting blade. If you don't own this saw then rent Tom's ratchet, its more quick.
