I am breastfeeding and I don't know if I am pregnant. My baby is 4 mon. old and I am having increased discharge, heartburn, naseua, and breast tingling. I don't know if the breasts are because of nursing or because I am pregnant. I also notice I can hardly get milk out when I pump, but the baby gets plenty. I haven't had a period. I had a negative test. But I don't know if they always work when nursing. Help I have no idea and don't want to pay for a blood test.

I don't have any experience with this personally, however, I have a friend that got pregnant with two children while she was still nursing. She said that both times she got pregnant she first had one period then ended up pregnant. I think you are safe until you have that first period, but like I said I have never experience this so maybe someone else will know more.
