    Florida's squatting and eviction laws
My question is what are my legal rights in the state of Florida for squatters... my husband has a friend living in our fully furnished apartment for about 3 months rent free also utility free and has ask him to move out . He now refuses to leave and feels he has the right to stay without having to pay for any expenses.
What are my rights and how can we resolve this problem , is there anyway that I can get the rent for the time he has occupied the apartment?
Do I have the right to change the locks and put his personal belongings out (which are just clothes)?

    Hello m:

You can't create a contract where there wasn't one. But you can evict him.

If you allowed him to leave there, he will have to be evicted. If he merely broke in and was staying there, there is different
