I was hoping you could help me find out a movie title for my mom. She says its from the late 1970's. She thinks it was called Welcome to Xanadu, but may have changed titles since then. (It's NOT the film Xanadu with Olivia Newton John). It was about a girl who falls for a surfer guy but finds out later that he was actually a ghost. She remembers the surfer guy being popular in the late 70's, but doesn't remember what else he played on. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much...

I remember the film well, about a high priestess who kept her self young and beautiful by sacrifice and a special time of year and space . From which a cold blue flame that was produced from a shooting star that every 100 years she would bathe in . An explorer fell in love . But to save his friend She who ruled . Would take the life of others to re gain her youth. So they had to stop the blue flame . She was hundreds of years old.
