My kitchen sink sprayer sprays but the faucet still runs at the same time. What do I need to do to fix it?

Replace the diverter, what brand of faucet, how many handles?

Price Pfister single handle not sure what model, it's about 11 years old.

Doug is correct but if I own an 11year old PF I would replace the entire faucet.
