Song I think called Midnight Blue
I am looking for the artist that sings what I believe is a soft rock song called Midnight Blue. It has a great beat and is a great song. Any help greatly appreciated!

If it is a female artist you are thinking of then I believe it is Melissa Manchester. You can confirm this on Google. Hope it helped.

No No. None of these answers are correct. The song you are looking for is sung by Lou Gramm/Foreigner.

Well ummm Yes would be the answer. Midnight Blue was / is a Melissa song. It was recorded in the mid-1970's at the studio I co-owned at the time.

Okay, I realized the person wanted to know the "soft rock" version. I guess that would be it then. The other version would be considered rock I suppose.

Hi Andi - thanks for writing. For the record, I really like Lou Gramm's music.. especially the song Just Between You and Me. It's one of my all-time favorites, for several reasons. I just realized we're discussing a question that's about 18 months old, and all for the benefit of someone who may have disappeared well over a year ago...
    Oh well!
Hope you're having a great day!

    Hey David,
Yeah I like that song too. I remember hearing in back in the 80's or 90's.
HA! I did notice it was an old post... maybe now that we've revived it, it could benefit someone else. : )
    Thanks!

So Andi, off the subject for a moment... that doesn't quite look like Lake Michigan!

No, : )... It's Jamaica! We went there in March with a group of friends. It was really nice. Maybe someday I'll get to go back.

I was going to guess the west coast of Florida - Captiva & Sanibel Islands are some of my favorite places. Having grown up in the Chicago area, it just didn't have that Lake Michigan look. Lol Never got to Jamaica, maybe someday...

Yes, I recommend it, especially because you can get the all-inclusive deals. That makes it really nice. No worries. I love to travel, just wish I could do it more often. Maybe I'll have to try the places you mentioned.

Actually I have been trying to find an answer to the same lyric in a rock song with strong organ in the back ground sung by a group in the 70's I think. Does anyone know who they might be? Real good song, had it blastin from my car radio.
