What is the benefits from using the hardware profile in XP SP2 ?
Actually I couldn't understand the benefits I can get from this option in the system as I have a laptop and I use this laptop in two different sites, each one has a domain controller .
I need a solution in order to solve the following problems :

Different Default Printer in each site
Different POP3 and SMTP in Microsoft Outlook
Maped Network drives

Kindly I need your Help to find a solution as the Hardware Profile didn't work.
