I haven't ever met her or we haven't seen each other. But we need to talk occasionally but for official purpose. She's in my company's HR and I'm located somewhere else by the company. Till now we have been talking only official stuff. Just lately I have started talking unofficial stuff also with her. She didn't seem to be offended so that's encouraging me.

How should I go?

Sounds kind of creepy when you say you want t have an affair with someone you have only been talking business to.

You could say you want to get to know her better, but not really a good idea to fraternize with others in the office.

I totally agree with tickle, sounds very strange!! Maybe you should just ask her out for a coffee or something else!

Just what kind of "affair" are you speaking of? Are either of you married? If so, then it's hands off and keep things strictly business. If, however, you're both single and eligible then keep on doing what you've been doing and take things slow and steady. Invite her to catch up with you after work for a drink or coffee and take things from there.
