He's not a tenant, so eviction is out. He's a trespasser, so call the cops.

In my state (VA), you have to evict. It is a more "streamlined" eviction process because of fewer notices required, but will still take 30-60 days.
Have you served him with ANY notice to vacate. That's your first step. If he refuses to move, you will probably need to go to court to remove him. Ask the county you purchased the property from.
