I have a waste or rotted flesh smell coming from the sump crock. I have nothing empting into the crock besides the footer drain. I do have a small bar sink discharging into the pipe in the floor connected to the furnace pipe. I don't know where this empties. I have ran water waiting for it to drain in the crock but never saw discharge. How do I get rid of the smell.

Something has died and fell in or around this area. Repair the pump.
