Am doing a kitchen remodeling I have my wall and ceiling to the stud am re wiring the whole kitchen with updated electric wire. The question is above my kitchen is my bedroom that I want to rewire I only have 4 outlet so do I run 14-2 wire in all the outlet with I fish tape to the basement.
If the outlets are duplex plugs you will want to use a 12 - 2 with a ground for those. You would only have to run one romex from the basement panel to one outlet and then run 12 - 2 with a ground to the other three plugs from it.
12-2 for sure, The price difference compared to labor is nothing, Avoid 14 guage)(my personal feelings), then 20 Amp Breaker. You will thank letmetllu in the winter when Floor heater continues to work.
While walls are open, consider TV telephone, Alarm, computer, Speakers. Probably doesn't

So used one wired of 12-2 in one outlet bring that one to the basement and form that one wire the other oulet in the rooms.Quote:
