    Chances of Violation?
I live in Indiana and I was put on probation a year ago, for a DWI. Did my classes and I had 3 days left. I was an idiot and got a Public Intoxication with only a few days to go. This was in another county. I called my probation officer and she said I had a violation, but decided to not revoke it instead just let me off the hook. (lucky me)

My question is, I have a court date for the P.I. What are the chances that the judge will have me for a probation violation and not just a P.I. since I committed the crime when I was on probation?

Also, I'm 20 and I was told this should be a minor consumption instead of P.I. Plus on my court paper I received in the mail, It said Charge "Public Intox" can I still be tried for violation?

And yes, I know, I need to quit drinking and I haven't for a few months, just to clear up those comments.

    Thanks.

The courts usually only violate on recommendation of your PO. Anyhow that is how it usually happens here in MO. The PO knows much more about what you are/aren't doing then the court does.
