Hi can anyone help me I have this rheem unit and now that I turn the heat on the heat pump outside only cames on when I go to the unit and reset the unit by pushing the red buton on the side

Check your air filter inside and make sure all vents are open. My guess is dirty filter or bad indoor fan motor. Good luck

I agree with Stubby74. If you have lack of air flow across the evaporator coil(dirty filters,dirty evap coil, vents shut off,blower not working)will trip the high pressure switch. I have seen a few txv go bad(at the evap coil) on the newer rheems and service techs will over charge the system with refrigerant thinking it was low but when switched to heat it uses a different metering device and the system trips the high pressure switch.
