    Toilet installation
I want to convert a closet into a bathroom. I live in an old high rise (circa 1925) with stacked plumbing and cement subfloors. The closet backs up to another bathroom, so I can tap into the sewage and feed pipes. The question is how to install the toilet. There is not a crawl space below my floor and I cannot break into the neighbors closet ceiling (which is below me). Is there anyway to raise the bed of the toilet to allow for the toilet's closet bend? I would prefer not having to raise all of the floor.

    Good morning Jane,

Yes, you may platform the toilet and use a eighth bend to drop down to make a tie in to the existing drainage in the next bathroom. The question now becomes, do you have enough "wiggle room" to tie into the other bathroom. Once you have the drainage problem whipped the water's the easy part. Good luck, Tom
