Getting error "The Network Path Was Not Found"
    Hello!

I'm using win. Server 2003. When I'm trying to access my shared folders from client machines (win. XP) I'm getting error "The Network Path Was Not Found" But It is pinging successfully. Only when I'm typing server name in "RUN" menu I'm getting same error.

    Please guide me for same.

    Thanks :)

Try using the IP of the server instead of the name.

    Instead of \\Server\Share, use \\192.168.1.1\Share

Of course, with your server's IP instead of that one. If it works, then you can be sure that they're actually connected, and able to share files. If not, then something is blocking the traffic. Maybe a firewall?

Can you see the client machines on your network under Network Neighborhood or My Network Places?

Are you on a domain or just using a workgroup?
