Can mom get child back after a tpr, but before adoption?
Is it possible for a mother to get her child back after her parental rights have been terminated, but before an adoption has taken place?
This is actually a family situation , too... a grandmother has a grandchild, the mom of the kid was MIA, now has returned, and wants to get her kid back, and straghten out her life. Is this possible after the rights have already been terminated?
Thanks for any advice, this is a new situatuion for us, any and all tips is appreciated!!

I'm sure the mother would have to hire an attorney and file in court for this. However, she is going to have to prove herself the courts. It will be up to the judge.

Ultimately it will be up to the courts to decide... they were the ones to terminate her rights because they deemed it in the best interest of the child... now she will need to prove it is in the best interest of the child to get them back.

The con man is right, hire a good lawyer, and expensive one. If the rights were terminated it will really be hard to get them back.

Mom is going to have to straighten out her life FIRST. Then fight to get rights back, but it's going to be hard I can promise you that. The courts just don't take away rights cause they feel like it.
