    Electric Shaver Scarring?
I shaved with an electric shaver while having barely any hair and I got a lot of these small discolored flat scars on my face that are light brown. I read that unlike regular shaving, electric shaving cuts do not produce scar tissue so I want to know if putting things such as aloe vera, vitamin e, etc. will really make the scar less noticeable or help in any way?

It's not unusual for men to develop spots or scars on their face from shaving. There are several over-the-counter lightening creams available to help fade the discolorations. Dermatologists may prescribe hydroquinone to treat scars. You will find 2% hydroquinone lightening creams at your local pharmacy in the skin care aisle. Go to the pharmacy and get a cream containing 2% hyroquinone, and apply it to the scars twice a day. The fading process takes 1-2 months. If you don't see any improvement after 1-2 months, please consult with a dermatologist for a treatment option that's right for you.
